Established in 2018, the Friedman Center is poised to become a leader in nutrition and inflammation research, and a central hub for interdisciplinary collaboration. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Nicholas Collins in May 2022 as the first junior faculty recruit at the Friedman Center for Nutrition and Inflammation. Dr. Collins’ primary appointment will be Assistant Professor of Immunology in the Department of Medicine with a secondary appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Weill Cornell Medicine. He will also be a member of the Drukier Institute for Children’s Health, the Jill Roberts Institute for Research in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the Weill Metabolic Health Center, as well as have an affiliation with the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Cornell University.
